Share Certificates

Share Certificates (also call Certificates of Deposit or CDs) guarantee a fixed rate of return with terms that range from six months to five years. They’re the perfect choice for risk-free saving and you can invest as little as $500.

Certificates come in as many flavors as ice cream. Always compare the annual percentage yield (APY) among the certificates you're considering.

Share Certificates will automatically renew at maturity unless you indicate otherwise. Early withdrawal penalties apply. Rates on these certificates are evaluated weekly, but you will lock into current rates when you open a certificate.

Shares and Certificates are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to a total of $100,000 for any accounts set up under the same ownership.
