OECU employees, officers, directors, and committee members are required to hold in confidence all Credit Union transactions with members and all information in regard to members’ personal business. OECU will not disclose information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to third parties unless:

OECU does not sell or provide personal information to third parties for independent use such as telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any nonfinancial products or services. We may share information with our Credit Union affiliates, for example Members Financial Services, Inc., as allowed by federal law, if that information is required to provide or offer a product or service that may be of value to you.
To assist us in offering you services, we may occasionally share information with companies that work for us, such as check-printing and data processing companies or a statement mailing house. These companies act on our behalf and are obligated to keep the information that we provide to them confidential and to conform to our privacy standards.

We update and test our technology to improve the protection of our information about you and to assure the integrity of our information. We actively seek to verify the identity of our members through the use of passwords or other information before assisting them.

However, regular non-encrypted internet e-mail is not secure. Private information should not be sent through the internet e-mail system.
